In 2009, Jay Fincher from Alabama and Megan Morris from Michigan came to Eagles’ Wings as summer staffers. They ran together every morning before camp started and became friends.
On January 6th Jay and Megan who now both live in Denver, CO came to visit us. They took a tour of the ranch and went out to see the windmill where they finished their run each morning in 2009. There Jay asked Megan to marry him and she said yes.
We took lots of pictures and celebrated with them before they returned to Denver. What a pleasure to play a small part in the proposal! With great happiness, we acknowledge God Who knows the plans He has for us and brings people together to love and be loved at Eagles’ Wings Youth Ranch.
