Since yesterday afternoon, Albert has begun to have fast breathing for no apparent reason.  Please pray our Merciful Father to turn this back to the progress we were seeing.  Albert is so ready to be out of ICU and I want to see that happen also.  He told the nurse in the night that he is tired of all of this.  Of course, he is.  I asked him this morning if he was tired and wanted to leave this world and be with the Lord.  He said adamantly, “No, I want to leave here and go to work for the Lord.”  His heart’s desire is to serve the Lord.  I just spoke to Dr. Williams’ associate about the fast breathing and it appears not to be a critical issue from his viewpoint.  He said because of the tube in his left lung and the suction being taken off, Albert may be feeling the tube more and compensating by breathing shallow to keep it from hurting.  This makes sense to me because Albert pointed to the spot yesterday saying it was tender.  The doctor said he wants to get him off all stuff which should help.  Oh, Precious Father, thank You for the encouragement once more!

Dr. Williams thinks we are still okay.  Sounds like we are getting out of ICU…soon…relatively….Praise the Lord either way.  There are many here in ICU waiting to whom we can be a witness.  Pray for fruit.

The left lung tube is out.  Now we wait to make sure ICU and the close monitoring will not be necessary.  Maybe after Noon sometime…Pray for the Dry Creek community.  A mother and her 2 children burned to death in a home there early this morning.  The father was away at work.  Pray for Dry Creek Baptist Camp as they minister in this very tragic situation.  Pray for Janet Bogard, a dear friend and strong encourager of ours, who was very close to this family.  “Thank You, O my Father, for giving us Your Son and sending Your Spirit ’til Your work on earth is done.”
