DIANNE’S JOURNAL POST—FRIDAY, JANUARY 28, 2011 9:49 AM, CST
Surgery over, the surgeon came to talk to us.  He explained everything he had done including cleaning a huge clump of barium out of one lung.  At some point during a procedure which required him to drink that stuff, it is supposed that he injested some of it into his lung.  This, of course, has been part of the detriment to his breathing.  However, he went on to say, the tumor is all over and told us:  “This man is not going to live.”  I replied, “Actually, he is going to live forever because He will be in Heaven with the Lord.”  His response was not one of a believer.  He said if he was this man’s family, he would tell him.  I think Albert already knows, but we will have that discussion and in it we will say:  Man does not know the days ordained, nor did the surgeon know.  Each day is another gift and we will live each moment with eternity in mind.  Could be minutes, hours, days, months, or years…If you want to see him this side of heaven, come as soon as you are able.  If not, prepare your heart to be with him there when the days ordained for you are over.  We love you all and look forward to hearing from you or seeing you, but our hearts long more to be together with our Triune God forever and ever in His time
