Albert and Dianne have been in Louisiana and Houston, TX since before Thanksgiving. When they found out that Albert had cancer in his lungs and pelvis area they decided to head to the best cancer treatment center, M. D. Anderson. M. D. Anderson has an entire floor dedicated to Sarcoma, the type of cancer Albert is being treated for.
The Lord has blessed in so many ways while there. Paul & Mandy Swilley, a gracious school friend of Dianne’s, invited them to reside at their home while in Houston. Though originally scheduled for late in December, a cancellation made it possible for them to get an appointment earlier and then the doctor even ordered the follow up visit to be moved up.
They have since had two doctor appointments and many tests. The doctor visits were positive, encouraging, and hopeful. Albert will start treatment on Friday the 18th. There will be a total of 6 treatments with three weeks in between each one. This keeps them away for 18 weeks, but Albert will be under close observation between treatments. This is very positive.
Continue to lift them to the LORD as they continue to journey through very difficult times.
