It seems that goodbye is a word all too prevalent in the Christian vocabulary. At Eagles’ Wings, as with most ministries there are seasons of service.
Renea Calhoon offered her letter of resignation at the end of this summer. Due to the financial hardships Eagles’ Wings was facing, she felt it would be in the EWYR’s best interest if she found work elsewhere.
Renee served at Eagles’ Wings as the business administrator since 2006 overseeing our many financial responsibilities. She brought the skills of a CPA to Eagles’ Wings and helped establish us with many useful financial tools. I remember her saying when she first began here that she had always felt called to mission work and this was an opportunity for her to fulfill that call. The work that she did will be missed and we appreciate her years of service.
Please, remember Renea and Eagles’ Wings as we both enter a new season.
