Last year Sarah Pierce, a former semester missionary on the ranch, brought a work group from Park Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma. This year Sarah came back with 25 people again ready to do whatever was asked of them.
Here are just a few examples of the many things they did. They moved walls in the barn, tore down and moved a chicken pen, put a pipe in under the driveway, built porches, cleaned saddles, reorganized the tack room, worked with the horses and helped cook for the group. They also helped us put on our annual Spring Festival.
At Eagles’ Wings, we depend on work groups like these to get things done.
Another group of young people joined in the effort from Eastern Oklahoma State College Baptist Collegiate Ministries. We are very glad they came along side in the work of the ministry.
